PURPOSE: To constitute the system so that plural ultrasonic probes can be connected to a single connecting mechanism part of an ultrasonic diagnostic device by providing one connecting mechanism part which can be connected to the connecting mechanism part of the ultrasonic diagnostic device, and the other connecting mechanism part which can be connected to one connecting mechanism part, on the ultrasonic probe.
CONSTITUTION: To one connecting mechanism part 10a of an ultrasonic diagnostic device 10, a connecting mechanism part 13a of an ultrasonic probe 11a is fitted and connected. Also, to a connecting mechanism part 14a of the probe 11a, a connecting mechanism part 13b of a probe 11b is fitted and connected. Subsequently, by opening and closing input/output connecting means in probing parts 16a, 16b of the probes 11a, 11b by an output signals from an input/output connection driving means in a monitor part 10b of the ultrasonic diagnostic device 10, the probing part 16a or 16b of a desired probe 11a or 11b is connected electrically to the ultrasonic diagnostic device 10. In such a way, it is possible to eliminate the need of changing the probe, and a diagnostic work is facilitated.
