To provide a clinically useful ultrasonic diagnostic equipment which safely converts a high definition, high detail and elastic picture into an image by acquiring information on tension structurally simply and spatially minutely in an elastic image diagnosis which needs the information on tension which is given to the body surface when the diagnostic section of a subject is pressed.
A deformable body vehicle for measuring pressure is established so that the transmission and reception aspect of ultrasound may be covered and the diagnostic section of the subject is pressed by using an ultrasonic probe. Since this deformable body vehicle for measuring the pressure comes to deform according to a tension of a boundary portion with the epidermis of the subject, the condition of the deformation is determined by a signal processing and the tension given to the body surface of the diagnostic section pressed by the ultrasonic probe is measured based on it. A high definition elastic image is acquired based on the tension.
