PURPOSE: To provide an ultrasonic probe for organism which can detect the echo from near an ultrasonic wave radiating surface securely.

CONSTITUTION: In an ultrasonic probe for organism provided with an ultrasonic transducer 50 to convert a received ultrasonic wave into an electric signal as well as to generate an ultrasonic wave, and an ultrasonic wave delay line 10 to delay the ultrasonic wave transmitted to the inside, whose one end face 11 is connected to the end face of the ultrasonic transducer 50 to transmit and receive the ultrasonic wave, while the other end face 12 is made as an end face to transmit and receive the ultrasonic wave, the end face 12 of the ultrasonic wave delay line 10 is inclined by a specific angle α to the end face 11.
