PURPOSE: To facilitate the operation, and also, to improve the diagnostic efficiency by providing a fitting band for attaching an ultrasonic probe main body to the palm.

CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic probe 3 is provided with an ultrasonic probe main body 4 provided with an ultrasonic transmitting/receiving part 4a on the upper face shown in the figure, a fitting band 5 for attaching this ultrasonic probe main body 4 to the palm, and a mold part 6 for coupling this fitting band 5 and the probe main body 4. The fitting band 5 is attached to a hand H. In this case, the ultrasonic probe main body 4 is placed on the palm side, and simultaneously, the ultrasonic transmitting/receiving part 4a is turned in the direction opposite to the palm. Accordingly, fingers become free, and while scanning an ultrasonic wave, the palpation can be executed simultaneously. Also, even in the case of an abdominal operation, etc., the reverse side of the liver 7, etc., in a body P to be examined can be scanned easily. Moreover, even in the case of a diagnosis extending over many hours, its fatigue can be reduced.
