The ultrasonic transducer rotation device comprises a ultrasonic transducer 10; the rotary sensor support swing arm 11 fixed on the bottom of a ship projecting approximately vertically downward, at the lower part of which the transducer 10 is fixed and the whole body of which is rotatable while centering its upper part, a hydraulic actuator 20 for moving the sensor support swing arm 11 from the using position approximately vertical to the bottom of the ship to the rest position along the bottom of the ship, and reversely rotate the sensor support swing arm 11 from the rest position to the using position; the hydraulic oil hose 16 for supplying oil to the hydraulic actuator 20, the piston rack 4 enabling the hydraulic actuator 20 to reciprocate with linear motion by the oil supplied by the hydraulic oil hose 16, and the pinion 6 for engaging with the piston rack 4 supported at the upper part of the sensor support swing arm 11.
