Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an ultrasonic transducer reducible in cost and improvable in performance.
SOLUTION: This transducer is provided with a transduction circuit 2 for transducing an ultrasonic wave U into a high-frequency electric signal Zi, a local oscillation circuit 15 for generating an electric signal Zm of which the frequency approximates the high-frequency electric signal Zi transmitted from the transduction circuit 2, a field effect transistor 9T for mixing/detection for inputting the high-frequency electric signal Zi transmitted from the transduction circuit 2 into a gate terminal G, and for inputting the generated electric signal Zm in the local oscillation circuit 15 into a non-grounded source terminal S, and a filter circuit 10 for removing a high-frequency component from an electric signal Zt transmitted from a drain terminal D connected to no electric source in the field effect transistor 9T, and for taking out an audible frequency band of electric signal Zo.
