Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic gas meter capable of properly determining the presence/absence of gas leakage during the open valve returning of a cutoff valve.SOLUTION: A part of an inner channel 20 is constituted by a plurality of measuring channels 21 in parallel with each other. Each of the plurality of measuring channels 21 is provided with ultrasonic flow rate measuring means M. Control means 8 detects abnormality on the basis of a fluid flow rate measured by the plurality of flow rate measuring means M respectively provided on the plurality of measuring channels 21. A fluid flow rate of the inner channel 20 is determined on the basis of the fluid flow rate measured by the flow rate measuring means M in which an amplification degree of a receiving signal is a set amplification degree or less, in returning time leakage determining processing, and it is determined whether gas leakage occurs or not on the basis of the determined fluid flow rate of the inner channel 20.
