PURPOSE: To reduce the setting space in the radial direction of a pipe by holding a short-barreled ultrasonic vibration generating element in the pipe with an upstream elastic body fixed at the expanded part of the pipe and a downstream elastic body.
CONSTITUTION: In the liq. atomizer 1 for atomizing a liq. to be injected into a pipe 7 and a pipe 8 respectively provided with expanded parts 75 and 85, the annular upstream elastic body 3 is fixed on the upstream inner wall of the expanded part 75, and the annular downstream elastic body 4 is fixed on the downstream inner wall of the expanded part 85. The short-barreled ultrasonic vibration generating element 2 is clamped between the upstream elastic body 3 and the downstream elastic body 4 and made freely expansible and contractible in the pipe. Namely, since an amplitude expanding phone is not provided, the setting space in the radial direction of the pipe can be reduced.
