Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an ultrasonic vibrator which is easy to design and manufacture, and is compact, and a driver having the same.
CONSTITUTION: A flex vibrating laminate 29 for carrying out flex vibration and a longitudinal vibration laminate 25 for carrying out longitudinal vibration are formed in a cylindrical shape each and an ultrasonic vibrator transducer 20 is constituted by joining them. In the ultrasonic vibrator transducer 20, by composing flex vibration and longitudinal vibration, ultrasonic elliptical motion is generated in projections 35a-35e. A driver for driving moving members by the projections 35a-35e is also provided.
