Abstract:
PURPOSE: To constitute a piezoelectric vibrator that can prevent a flutter echo caused by an effect of an unnecessary mode generated at the driving time.
CONSTITUTION: When a frequency fc of a vibrating spectrum (c) generated in an unnecessary mode is located in a range between an natural frequency (a driving frequency fD1), which is necessary for the driving of a vibrator, and its twofold frequency (a driving frequency fD2), a frequency fa of a flutter echo vibration spectrum (a) is expressed as fa=fD2-fc. Accordingly, the intrinsic frequency for the driving of the vibrator is adjusted so that the value (fD2-fc) comes to be above an audible range.
