Abstract:

To provide a substrate for capacitor which has a higher energy storage density than the conventional capacitor has, a large effective surface area and the energy storage capacity of which can be increased, and then, the surface shape of which can be controlled easily.

A coated substrate is composed of a substrate 30 made of a conductive metal, and a coating which contains at least a first pseudo-capacitive metal consisting of a first metal or its precursor. The coating is made of the particles of the first metal which are formed from an ultrasonically generated aerosol 20 and brought into contact with the substrate 30.
