To provide an ultrasonograph which can provide kinetic information of specific tissue in real time.
A contour detection part 11 detects a contour of the lining (adventitia) of heart based on tomographic image data acquired in a predetermined cardiac time phase. A contour tracing part 12 requires the position of each point that constitutes the lining (adventitia) in the tomographic image data acquired in each cardiac time phase by pattern matching at every time phase. An operation part 20 requires kinetic information that shows the kinetic state of the lining (adventitia) in each cardiac time phase based on the position of each point that constitutes contour of each cardiac time phase. A display control part 7 displays a tomographic image based on tomographic image data acquired in each cardiac time phase on a display part 81 at every time phase and additionally displays the kinetic information in each cardiac time phase on the display part 81 at every time phase in each case.
