Abstract:
To provide an ultrasonic image in which presence/absence and distribution of a specific tissue can be easily judged.SOLUTION: An elastic image 34 is generated based on echo data. On the elastic data 34, a coefficient representing a presence percentage of a specific tissue at each scanning position is calculated by performing a pattern matching at each of the scanning positions while scanning a template 36A having a specific pattern for searching the specific tissue. Based on the plurality of coefficients calculated at the plurality of scanning positions on the elastic image 34, a specific tissue distribution image 40 is generated. A colored specific tissue distribution image 40 is displayed to be overlapped on a black and white B-mode tomographic image 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
