Title:
ULTRAVIOLET CURABLE COMPOSITION FOR OPTICAL DISC, AND THE OPTICAL DISC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010053167
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an ultraviolet curable composition that inhibits deterioration of an optical reflective layer upon heat and humidity environment being changed even when silicon or a silicon compound is used in the reflective layer, and to provide the optical disc capable of reading and writing a recording signal suitably even upon heat and humidity environment being changed.

The ultraviolet curable composition for the optical disc includes a (meth)acrylate oligomer, a (meth)acrylate monomer and an antioxidant, wherein the antioxidant contains an isocyanuric acid backbone, and a chlorine content in the composition is 120 ppm. The ultraviolet curable composition prevents deterioration which occurs at an interface between a cured film of the composition and a silicon reflective layer even in an environment of high temperature and high humidity, and inhibits generation of fine white spots effectively which may interfere with reading and writing signals.
