To provide a resin composition for use in imprinting, which has high adhesiveness after curing and a high glass transition point, and is properly viscous before curing.
An ultraviolet-curable resin composition includes: a prepolymer having a number average molecular weight of 7,000 or less; a reactive diluent including a monofunctional monomer having a cyclic group and/or a monofunctional monomer having a hydroxyl; and a photopolymerization initiator. The prepolymer is obtained by ultraviolet polymerization of a monomer mixture which includes a (meth)acrylate monomer having 1-3C hydroxyalkyl as an alcohol residue or a hydrophilic monomer that is a predetermined (meth)acrylamide monomer, and a hydrophobic monomer that is a (meth)acrylate monomer other than the hydrophilic monomer, with the mass ratio (hydrophobic monomer/hydrophilic monomer) being 0.66-1.25. The content of the prepolymer is 30 mass% or more relative to the ultraviolet-curable resin composition.
