PURPOSE: To provide an ultraviolet-curing antifogging agent composition and antifogging coating film capable of imparting excellent antifogging property to the substrate of underwater goggle, helmet shield, etc., and having excellent film strength, adhesivity to the substrate and appearance of the antifogging coating film.
CONSTITUTION: The objective antifogging agent is composed of a block copolymer having a specific structure consisting of a hydrophilic polymer block and a hydrophobic polymer block, a photo-polymerizable compound, a polar solvent which is good solvent of the above hydrophobic polymer block and a photo-polymerization initiator. The effect can further be improved by incorporating the agent with a surfactant, especially a fluorine-containing surfactant. The composition has increased film-forming rate.
