Abstract:

To provide an ultraviolet disinfection instrument capable of safely and precisely disinfecting treated water with ultraviolet rays by allowing no foreign matters to get mixed in the treated water.

The ultraviolet disinfection instrument is equipped with a dielectric tube 7 pervious to ultraviolet rays and permitting the treated water to flow in and the ultraviolet ray source 6 arranged outside the dielectric tube 7. The ultraviolet ray source 6 comprises a light emission tube 10 having a double glass tube structure which surrounds the whole outside periphery of the dielectric tube 7.
