Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet lamp which has a reduced amount of light component equal to or less than 296 nm and has a luminescence peak in a wavelength within a range equal to or more than 300 nm and less than 350 nm, and an ultraviolet irradiation device for ultraviolet curable ink.SOLUTION: An ultraviolet lamp comprises at least one light-emitting part including an electron beam source and a phosphor. The at least one light-emitting part has a light-emitting spectrum whose peak wavelength is included in a range of wavelengths equal to or more than 300 nm and less than 350 nm by irradiating the phosphor with electrons that the electron beam source radiates. In particular, as the phosphor, a phosphor containing carbons at least equal to or more than 0.01 mass% in a hexagonal born nitride crystal is adopted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
