Abstract:
To provide an ultraviolet laser printing medium that yields print spots having excellent print sharpness for each spot when irradiated with an ultraviolet laser, and that yields printed matter having suppressed bulging of a protective resin layer when irradiated with the laser, printed matter in which an irradiation region is discolored when the ultraviolet laser printing medium is irradiated with the ultraviolet laser, a method for manufacturing the same, and an ink composition used in manufacturing the ultraviolet laser printing medium, and further provide a processed article obtained by using the ultraviolet laser printing medium or the printed matter.SOLUTION: The ultraviolet laser printing medium has, on a base material, a print layer containing a titanium oxide, and a protective resin layer, in this order. The content of the titanium oxide in the print layer is 0.1 g/m2 to 4.0 g/m2, and the crystallite size of the titanium oxide in the print layer is from 13 nm or more and 53 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
