Abstract:
To provide an ultraviolet irradiation device that has a simple constitution, and can efficiently irradiate an object to be sterilized with ultraviolet light and sterilize the object.SOLUTION: An ultraviolet light irradiation device 1 comprises: a cylindrical housing 2; a light source 4 which emits ultraviolet light; and a light guide 6 which is provided for an inner wall of the housing 2, and guides ultraviolet light emitted from the light source 4. The light guide 6 has a cylindrical circulation part and an incident part which allows ultraviolet light to be incident into the circulation part, and emits ultraviolet light into a space surrounded by the circulation part while guiding ultraviolet light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
