To provide a portable ultraviolet sterilizer where a sterilization effect at a part which is not irradiated with UV sufficiently is improved rapidly in use where uniform irradiation with UV is difficult, which is small, light in weight to have a degree of freedom in design, which saves energy and which is safety, and to inexpensively manufacture the sterilizer without being affected in terms of a material serving as the defect of UV LED using a photocatalyst.
The ultraviolet sterilizer is provided with the LED as a light source for exerting sterilization. The LED is provided with a light-emitting chip having a main light-emitting peak in a wavelength area of 360 to 380 nm and a condensing lens for focusing light emitting of the light-emitting chip. The LED focuses the light emitting of the light-emitting chip by the condensing lens and radiates it.
