Abstract:

To provide an umbrella-dewatering machine for efficiently dewater an umbrella while carrying the umbrella with a water absorption belt.

In an umbrella-dewatering machine for absorbing water adhering to an umbrella A with water absorption belts 33a while pinching the umbrella A between a pair of water absorption belts 33a that run and oppose each other, the water absorption belts 33a are divided into a plurality of stages in a direction that is vertical to the running direction, the running speed of one stage of or a plurality of stages of water absorption belts at a lower-stage side is set to a large value, and at the same time the running, relative speeds of a pair of opposing dewatering belts are changed, thus enabling an umbrella cloth to be peeled off for sufficient dewatering since the running speed of the water absorption belt at an upper portion is large while the umbrella A is running.
