Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella-drying frame enabling several umbrellas to be easily dried, because the umbrellas which are opened and often dried by being put in a yard or hung on the handle at a fence as they due to absence of adequate places to dry the umbrellas gotten wet with rain, could be blown by wind, fly and get the ribs bent by hitting the outer wall of the house or damage parking cars.SOLUTION: In the drying frame, three pieces of horizontal legs 4 radially extend from a base A2 and each tips has a hole to insert a ferrule of the umbrella. A center pole 1 is placed upright at the center of the base A, another base B3 is set to the upper end of it, and three horizontal arms 5 are radially extended from it to the positions superimposed with the horizontal legs. The tip of the horizontal arm is attached with a recess part 7 and engaging members 8a, 8b for holding the umbrella shaft. The base B is formed with a groove for holding the umbrella shaft, and an umbrella handle holding base 12 which can change the height is attached to the center pole. Four umbrellas can be dried at once in the structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
