To provide an umbrella storing body which can drain water while the umbrella is inserted, allows the insertion/removal of the umbrella by one hand, is easy to drain water, has a simple structure and is inexpensive to produce.

The umbrella storing body 1 includes (1) a cylindrical umbrella storing section 2 having an upper opening section 24 for insertion and removal of the umbrella and a closed bottom section 25 to hold the stored umbrella, (2) a fixing section 4 which is disposed at a side section of the umbrella storing section and can removably fix the umbrella storing section on a stroller in a deflecting direction from a vertical direction, (3) a water draining section 3 which is disposed at a side section of a lower region 23 of the umbrella storing section, can pass water through a connection section 32 with the umbrella storing section, has an opening section for the water discharge at an opposite pointed head section of the connection section and can change the opening section to a water dischargeable position or to a fall of a drop of water preventing position, and (4) a fastening means 33 which fastens the water discharge section to the umbrella storing section while the opening section for the water discharge exists at the water dischargeable position.
