PURPOSE: To make an umbrella bag usable, by making a grip part of an umbrella hollow, and providing a lid at the grip part so as to house reasonably the umbrella bag belonged to umbrella in the umbrella.

CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical grip part 3 at one end of the handle 2 of an umbrella 1 is formed in a hollow. That is, the grip part 3 is formed in a cylindrical form by a wood, a synthetic resin or the like, a cutting of screw 8 is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the opening at the front end, and a screw type lid 4 is screwed thereto so as to block the opening of the grip part 3. When the umbrella is used, an umbrella bag is removed from the umbrella, and after the lid 4 is rotated and removed, the umbrella bag is housed in the grip part 3 of the handle 2 made in a hollow. The lid 4 is screwed to block the opening of the grip part 3 again under such a condition. Consequently, the umbrella bag can be housed in a good appearance without making it as an obstacle.
