Title:
UNCOATED AND HEAT-SHRINKABLE FABRIC MADE OF SYNTHETIC FILAMENT YARN, AIRBAG AND AIRBAG SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03137245
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat-shrinkable fabric uncoated with talc powder or the like, low in air permeability and applicable to automobile airbags, or the like, by symmetrically texturing specific denier synthetic filament yarns as warps and wefts.

CONSTITUTION: The synthetic filament yarns (preferably made of polyamide 6, 6) having 300-400 dtex denier, preferably 350 dtex, preferably ≥60 cN/tex strength, 15-30% elongation and ≥6% coefficient of shrinkage in hot air at 190°C are textured as warps and wefts of the same yarn pieces (preferably 23-28 pieces/cm) to obtain the inexpensive fabric for airbags, preferably after desizing and/or washing, thermofixing and sanforizing or calendering.
