Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an undercover for an FF vehicle employable to a compact car.
SOLUTION: A right undercover 12 is formed by a resin cover body 21. A front end fixing point 31 to be fixed to a radiator core 6 is set on a front end part of the cover body 21, and a rear end fixing point 32 to be fixed to a suspension member 5 is set to the rear end part. A notched part 36 to prevent the interference with an exhaust pipe 35 is formed on a rear part R of a left end fixing point 34 of the cover body 21, and a reinforcement 38 is extended between the front end fixing point 31 and the rear end fixing point 32 at an edge part of the notched part 36. The reinforcement 38 is formed of a spring steel, and an edge part subjected to the heat from the exhaust pipe 35 and non-supportable by a center member 7 is reinforced thereby.
