Abstract:
To provide an undercover for a vehicle which can generate a down force with high area efficiency.SOLUTION: An undercover 10 for a vehicle covers at least a part of a bottom part of the vehicle. The undercover comprises: a plurality of horizontal first planes 11a extending in a vehicle width direction; a plurality of horizontal second planes 15a extending in the vehicle width direction at a position higher than the first planes 11a; a plurality of first inclined faces 13a which extend with increasing upward inclination as they go rearward from rear end parts of the first planes 11a, and which are connected to front end parts of the second planes 15a; and a plurality of second inclined faces 17a which extend with increasing upward inclination as they go frontward from front end parts of the first planes 11a, and which are connected to rear end parts of the second planes 15a. A surface shape pattern SP which is constituted of the first planes 11a, the first inclination faces 13a, the second planes 15 and the second inclination faces 17a, which are continuous in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction, are formed on lower faces 10a so as to be repeated in the vehicle fore-and-aft direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
