Title:
UNDERFLOOR DEHUMIDIFYING AND DRYING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010059623
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an underfloor dehumidifying and drying system which eliminates the need of boring and underfloor construction leading to damage to the foundation of a building and which can dehumidify and dry the underfloor of a wooden existing building and a wooden new building each having a space under the floor.

The underfloor dehumidifying and drying system includes a suction dehumidifying and drying machine 1 which is installed at the outer corner of the foundation of a building having ventilation openings or foundation packings and which comprises an inlet and an outlet and a suction pipe 3 and a discharge pipe 5 which are laid down on the outside of the foundation of the building and connected to the inlet and the outlet of the suction dehumidifying and drying machine 1, respectively. The wet air under the floor is sucked by the suction dehumidifying and drying machine 1 through a suction hole 4 by communicating the suction 4 and a discharge hole 6 having the suction pipe 3 and the discharge pipe 5 at the portions corresponding to the ventilation openings of the foundation or the foundation packings with each ventilation opening or a vent hole formed in each foundation packing. Consequently, the dehumidified and dried air can be blown to the underfloor through the discharge pipe 5 and the discharge hole 6.
