To provide an underfloor heat-insulating material and a hot-water mat for floor heating in which heat insulation need not be required particularly.
The hot-water mat 4 for floor heating is composed of the two layers of a hot-water mat section 6 and a heat-insulating material section 7, and both are fixed by adhesives or the like. Rectangular heat-insulating members abutted against sleepers 1 are removed as shown in (a) in (a) first, and the removed sections are fitted to the sleepers 1 for installing the hot-water mat 4 for floor heating on a floor structure member. Accordingly, the hot-water mat 6 is abutted against the sleepers 1 as shown in (b), the hot-water mat 4 for floor heating is fitted among floor joists 2, and the top faces of the hot-water mat 4 for floor heating and the floor joints 2 approximately coincide. Since the heat-insulating members 7 can be positioned on the sides lower than the top faces of the sleepers 1, the thickness of the members 7 do not receive a limitation. Thus, a sufficient heat-insulating effect can be given to the hot-water mat 4.
