Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further accurately control a boring advance of the hole drilling rod tip having a diameter of about several cm by using an azimuth measuring sensor using a gyroscope.
SOLUTION: An azimuth/angle measuring part is arranged in a tip part of an excavating rod 2, and an excavating bit 3 is fixed to the tip side via a flexible tip rod 12 having the prescribed length. The azimuth/angle measuring part is provided with the azimuth measuring sensor 15 for measuring the direction in the horizontal direction, an inclination sensor 16 for measuring an angle in the vertical direction and a turning angle sensor 17 for measuring a turning angle. The flexible tip rod 12 is provided with a bend sensor 20 for detecting a bend. A three-dimensional position and the direction of the azimuth/angle measuring part are indexed by respective measuring data and the jacking length of a hole drilling rod, and a position of the excavating bit 3 is indexed in response to a measured value by the bend sensor 20.
