Abstract:

To provide an underground heat exchanger which includes a hollow pipe laid in the ground, water filled in the hollow pipe, and water circulation piping inserted into the filled water (filler water), and which can reliably prevent deterioration in heat exchange efficiency due to the evaporation of the filler water and, when a steel pipe is used for the hollow pipe, corrosion of an inner surface of the steel pipe due to dissolved oxygen in the filler water.

In the underground heat exchanger, a cap 15 formed of plastic or metal and having a die-cut part with a shape of a water circulation pipe 14 is fitted to an upper end of the steel pipe 11, and a gap therebetween is sealed by a gap filler material 16 to block an upper part of a water surface 13a of the filler water 13 from the outside.
