PURPOSE: To obtain an underground storage device capable of storing therein a large volume of particulate materials, at a low cost by providing a V-shaped underground storage section, a discharge chamber formed in the bottom section of the storage section, a particulate material discharge device, means for conveying the particulate materials, for elevating the same up to the ground and for introducing the same into the storage section, and a roof member.
CONSTITUTION: A flow conveyer 11 distributes a particulate material between right and left storage spaces 3 in accordance with a kind of the particulate material 2 so that the particulate material 2 is charged into one of the space through a charge port 13. Further, vibration feeders 7 are driven to introduce the particulate material 2 from the bottom section of the storage space 3 into a discharge chamber 6 in order to taken out the same from the storage space 3. The particulate material 2 introduced into the discharge chamber 6 by the feeders 7 is conveyed to one longitudinal end face 1a of the storage section 1 by conveyers 8, and is then shifted onto a bucket conveyers 9 which elevates the same up to the ground. Accordingly, the load and the pressure of the particulate material can be substantially supported by the ground 15 so that the strength required for storing the particulate material can be reduced.
