Abstract:
To provide an underpants type absorbent article which excellently retains fitting property to the body after urination even on inflation of an absorber due to urine absorption, while improving diffusibility and liquid permeability so that urine wetly spreads quickly when receiving urine due to urination.SOLUTION: An underpants type absorbent article comprises: an abdominal side band member arranged at an abdominal side of a wearer; a back side band member arranged at a back side of the wearer; and an absorbent body positioned in a crotch part between the abdominal side band member and the back side band member, in which: the absorbent body has a liquid permeable top sheet, a liquid impermeable back sheet, and an absorber arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet; the absorber has an absorber core, an open hole film covering at least a skin contact surface side of the absorber core, and a pulp-containing nonwoven fabric covering a non-skin contact surface side of the absorber core; and the absorber has a through groove along the longitudinal direction in a width direction center of the absorber core so as to form a bent part in the absorbent body at the time of wearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
