The underpants 1 are so designed that a pad 11 is detachably attached to a part covering the side of the thighbone, a first hook-and-loop fastener 2 is set on the opposite side of the pad of the underpants, the pad has a plate-like resilient body 16, a protective board 17 positioned along the outer face of the resilient body and convexly curved outward and a cover 18 wholly covering both the resilient body and the protective board, and a second hook-and-loop fastener 22 which is engageable on the first hook-and-loop fastener in cooperation therewith is set on the opposite side of the first hook-and-loop fastener.
