Abstract:
This underwater aerator 1 is provided with: a casing (impeller casing 5); a gas intake port 513 which allows gas to flow into the casing; a liquid intake port 76 which opens in water and which allows liquid to flow into the casing; an impeller 6 which is housed in the casing and which is for discharging a gas-liquid mixture into water; and a strainer member 7 which has a first disk and a second disk that face each other in the axial direction of the impeller, and which forms a liquid intake port that extends in the circumferential direction between the first and second disks. The strainer member 7 has: a plurality of projections 74 which protrude from the first disk toward the second disk; and a plurality of projections 75 which protrude from the second disk toward the first disk.
