Abstract:
To provide an underwater monitoring system capable of monitoring a monitoring object sailing on the water or in the water over a wide range.
This underwater monitoring system has a monitoring sensor 1 arranged in a plurality in the water and transmitting acquired information by repeatedly acquiring the information on a sailing position of a sailing ship 3 sailing on the water or in the water, and an underwater sailing body 2 arranged by one or a plurality in the water and sailing in the water. The underwater sailing body 2 sails to a meeting position, by determining the meeting position where the underwater sailing body 2 meets with the sailing ship 3, based on the information on the sailing position received from the monitoring sensor 1.
