Abstract:
To provide an underwater observation system in which no sound competition occurs between sea travel groups even if a plurality of sea travel groups is operated within a narrow range and a sound wave competition elimination method of the same.SOLUTION: An on-sea repeater ASV periodically acquires various kind of data. An overlap state determination unit 25 calculates, on the basis of the various kind of data obtained, a range of the sound wave competition between a sound wave beam emitted by the on-sea repeater ASV itself and a sound wave beam emitted by a mother ship MS and/or the other on-sea repeater ASV included in the other one of the sea travel groups to determine overlap of the sound wave beams. An avoidance action determination unit 27 determines necessity of an avoidance action for eliminating the sound wave competition on the basis of the overlapping state. If it is determined that an avoidance action is necessary, an avoidance action execution unit 7 executes the avoidance action.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
