Title:
UNDERWATER ORGANISM STICKING PREVENTIVE TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3068057
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sticking of an underwater organism by fitting a polyolefinic resin tubular body having a specified dimension of the prescribed part around an underwater laying object.
SOLUTION: For example, a tubular body such as a polyolefinic resin overlap pipe 4 or a slit pipe and a spiral pipe is detachably fitted around a ship mooring underwater laying rope 1. Next, a tubular body inside diameter is formed larger than a diameter of the rope 1, an underwater organism sticking to the rope 1 is scratched off by moving the titular body by waves, or the tubular body inside diameter is set not more than a diameter of the rope 1, and is brought into close contact with the surface of the roper 1 to hinder growth of the underwater organism. Next, a circumferential directional overlap dimension of the pipe 4 is set not less than 1/6 of the circumference of the pipe 4, a slit width of the slit pipe is set not more than 1/2 of a diameter of the rope 1, and a width of a belt-like body wound in a spiral shape round the rope 1 of the spiral pipe is set to 1 to 15 cm to thereby prevent operability reduction, the degradation and cutting of the rope.
