Abstract:

To provide a method for polishing of brown rices capable of normal germinating in a short time by grinding the sealed part near to a vascular bundle port which is located in the vicinity of germ seats of germ buds with a screw file and increasing water suction from the vascular bundle port to the germ buds.

Brown rices and water are charged into a glass container 1 of an underwater polishing apparatus of brown rices for a promotion of normal germination and a mixed liquid with the brown rices and a water are rotated and stirred with a screw vane 3. Polished brown rices for normal promotion are produced by making a file of the surface and back screw vane and an inner file of the glass container contact with brown rices and peeling off exocarps of brown rices in the water.
