Title:
UNDERWATER POWER SUPPLY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3049841
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To carry out lamp replacement safely and construct an underwater illumination device free from risk of electricity leakage by furnishing a light source, a power generating means, and a rotary magnetic field generating means.
CONSTITUTION: A generator 9 as a means to generate electric power is separated perfectly and insulated electrically by the rear wall 6 of a lamp case 1 from the part with a motor 12 as a rotary magnetic field generating means which is connected directly to a power supply. Accordingly there is quite no risk of touching the power supply or any electric connection part at the time of replacing lamp structure, nor the risk of hot water intrusion to the electric connection parts with the power supply. Thus the safety is ensured. Because the lighting circuit of a lamp body 10 generates an electromotive power in the generator 9 with a rotary magnetic field generated by a magnet, the generator 9 and lamp body 10 constitute a perfectly closed circuit, so that there is no risk of electricity leakage to lead to further enhancement of the safety.
