To reduce the number of steps of a timbering to simplify the erection work by fitting a mortar bag to a timbering previously assembled on the land, installing the same under water, and then injecting gap filling mortar.
Timberings 3, 3 to be erected under water are previously assembled on the land, and the assembled timberings 3 are inserted in a pit 2. The timbering 3 is fitted with a bag receiving hardware and a mortar bag and inserted and installed under water. After gap filling mortar is injected into the mortar bag to swell the bag. After gap filling mortar is solidified, the interior of the cut-off pit 2 is drained. Accordingly, the number of steps of the strut timbering 3 can be decreased, and also precasting for the timbering 3 is enabled. Therefore, the erection work can be simplified, the term of works can be shortened, the construction cost can be reduced, and the improvement in safety can be realized.
