Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device and a storage method for an underwater vehicle capable of easily recovering and launching an underwater vehicle while suppressing damage to the underwater vehicle irrespective of a type (self-propelled type or tow type) of the underwater vehicle.SOLUTION: A storage device for an underwater vehicle 1 used for recovering or launching the underwater vehicle 1 includes a rope body 2 connected to the tip of the underwater vehicle 1 and a fender 3 for covering the outer periphery of the underwater vehicle 1. The fender 3 has an insertion hole 31 through which the rope body 2 can be inserted, at the tip, and an opening 32 through which the underwater vehicle 1 can be inserted, at the rear end.
