To automatically detect the wetting state of underwear or diaper worn by a child or the elderly person when the underwear or the diaper is wet by urination and defecation.

The system is provided with wetting detection means 4 and is provided with wetting report means 14 for reporting the wetting of the underwear or the diaper 1 by a wetting detection signal of the wetting detection means 4. The system automatically detects the occurrence of the wetting by the urination or the defecation and reports the same to people around the underwear or the diaper and therefore there is no need for investigating the presence or absence of the urination or the defecation each time. Since the system automatically reports the wetting state, the person wearing the underwear or the like can immediately have the underwear or the diaper exchanged with the dry and comfortable underwear or diaper.
