PURPOSE: To restrain the generation of freezing or icicles by installing a heat generating wire into a gutter along the longitudinal direction thereof, enlarging the lower end portion of a conductor in a bell shape and burying same in sand or fine gravel and installing a heat generating body therein.

CONSTITUTION: A heat generating wire is installed into a flexible gutter made of vinyl or vinyl chloride, etc., along the longitudinal direction thereof and connected to a power source via a thermostat. The lower end of a conductor is enlarged in a bell shape or a bowl shape, etc., and buried into sand or fine gravel, etc., and a heat generating body is installed therein via a thermostat. In winter, the heat generating bodies are electrified to restrain the generation of freezing or icicles.
