Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an unhulled rice feeder capable of smoothly restarting a centrifugal dehuller by preventing the clogging with unhulled rice.
SOLUTION: A pair of clogging preventing plates 21 and 23 are provided to the connection part 13 of a supply hopper 12. The clogging preventing plates 21 and 23 are spaced apart from each other along the imaginary surface X formed along a side wall 12A inclined at an angle of repose to be positioned up and down mutually opposite sides with respect to the imaginary surface X and provided so as to cross the imaginary surface X almost at a right angle to extend so that the respective leading end parts of them reach the imaginary surface X. Therefore, even if unhulled rice M is ready to flow in the centrifugal dehuller 16 from a supply port 14 in such a state that the centrifugal dehuller 16 (the rotation of rotary blades 18) is stopped, the inflow of unhulled rice M is prevented by the clogging preventing plates 21 and 23 to prevent the clogging with unhulled rice M. Accordingly, the excessive load caused by the clogging with unhulled rice M does not act when the centrifugal dehuller 16 is restarted and the centrifugal dehuller 16 can be restarted smoothly.
