This unified water meter inspection system is equipped with a meter inspection means, a totalization means, a collection means, a payment means, a rate system database, and a user database. This system is characterized in that the inspection means inspects the amount of water used in each water use facility, produces meter inspection information, and transmits it to the totalization means, the rate system database severally accumulates rate calculation expressions for two or more waterworks departments, the user database accumulates payment methods by which users pay water rates, the totalization means calculates water rates to transmit them to the collection means and to the payment means, the collection means collects the water rates from the users, and the payment means pays the waterworks departments the water rates received from the collection means.
