Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a uniflow scavenging type 2-cycle engine attaining uniformity of concentration of fuel gas and active gas sucked through one open-shut motion at a scavenging port.SOLUTION: A uniflow scavenging type 2-cycle engine includes: a fuel injection part 126 arranged at an outside part in a radial direction of a cylinder rather than scavenging ports 118 and provided with fuel injection ports 126c for injecting fuel gas against active gas sucked into the scavenging ports; operation members 144 arranged at the fuel injection part so as to enlarge or reduce an opening range of the fuel injection ports in a stroke direction of a piston 112; and a power transmission mechanism 146 for transmitting power of the piston to the operation members. The power transmission mechanism operates the operation members from minimum opening positions to maximum opening positions when the piston enlarges an opening range of the scavenging ports in a stroke direction, and operates the operation members from the maximum opening positions to the minimum opening positions when the piston reduces the opening range of the scavenging ports in the stroke direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
