Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a uniflow scavenging two-cycle engine for promptly stopping the injection of fuel gas.SOLUTION: A uniflow scavenging two-cycle engine comprises: a cylinder having a combustion chamber formed therein; a piston sliding within the cylinder; a scavenging port provided on one end side of the cylinder in the stroke direction of the piston and drawing in active gas into the combustion chamber in response to a slide operation of the piston; and a fuel injection part 126 provided outward of the scavenging port in the radial direction of the cylinder and injecting fuel gas to the active gas drawn in by the scavenging port, and the fuel injection part comprises an inner pipe 156 which has an inner hole penetrating the inner pipe from an interior thereof to an exterior thereof and into which the fuel gas is introduced; an outer pipe 158 which has an outer hole penetrating the outer pipe from an interior thereof to an exterior thereof and which accommodates therein the inner pipe so that the inner pipe and the outer pipe form a double pipe; and a driving unit 154 which changes relative positions of the inner pipe and the outer pipe and changes an opening amount that is an area by which the inner hole overlaps the outer hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
