To provide an uninterruptible power supply monitoring system which can monitor an uninterruptible power supply with other apparatus as a substitute, even if a fault occurs in one apparatus, without the need for introducing dedicated software or apparatuses.
A PC 1a which can read data on a network and UPSes 2a-2e are connected to the network N, and the UPS monitor system is built. The PC 1a transmits a notification of nomination using the network N so that it functions as a reader to either of UPSes 2a-2e. The UPS 2a has data acquisition function 107 for collecting data about UPS 2b, UPS 2c of a group A, to which self-apparatus belongs of the UPS 2a connected to the network, when a LAN function 101 for receiving the notification of the nomination, a Web browser telecommunication function 109, and the notification of the nomination are received. The UPS 2a transmits the data collected by using the LAN function 101 and the Web browser telecommunication function 109.
